One thing is confirmed-V 161-1 for ecmp will work for the machines which do all aadhaar work-updation,new,biometrics .so in government places like banks,bsnl offices,post offices and in school education registrars offices this verion will work where as in UCL csc where only demographic work is done v162-1 will work. An operator was having difficulty in syncing the machine as v151-1 is no longer working.we converted it into the latest version and updated the software. The latest update is that Ecmp 163-1 will be installed only on few system on experimental basis to check the new feature which is document upload in life process section.it is not necessary that all systems will be updated to this version.so the current working version in Ecmp is 161-1/162-1 while in CSC UCL it is 162-1(It does have document upload ) I suggest to use 161-1 for ecmp as 162-1 was launched into a very system and quickly they changed it into 163-1 which again will be available on a very few systems. One operator was having difficulty while working in older version.He was facing a lot of technical glitches.we changed the older version 156-1 into 161-1 and it is working fine now. As we can see he version was downloaded from here only and manually changed the version.
